I`m writing this on a train from Tallinn to Viljandi (operated by Edelaraudtee). Yes, we have Internet on trains, although available only to passengers in the first class. The difference between first and normal class is extra 10 krones for the ticket and loud radio music. And WLAN Internet access.
It takes approximately 2,5 hours to get to Viljandi (as much as by bus) because the train stops very frequently. Still, I prefer going by train, because there is more room for legs and no worries about the crazy traffic on Tallinn-Tartu highway. I only hope that someday there will be smooth tracks and less stops which would make traveling by train to Viljandi even more appealing.
